Twice I have failed at growing leeks from seed. <br /><br />Erin- I also have some pencil thin leeks. I recently pulled them, trimmed them back, and re-planted elsewhere in the garden. Not sure what they will do if anything at all.<br /><br />meemsnyc- as I mentioned above, I stink at growing them from seed. These I purchased as sets through the mail and I actually have something to harvest!!
