Or could it be squirrels? I saw a one blatantly decapitating one of my chard plants.

I'm gonna risk it and plant out my melons in mid May. Maybe I'll cover them with my hoops if need be.Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09303344546714641616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2058555775154932842.post-59516055222091999172010-04-27T12:07:18.112-04:002010-04-27T12:07:18.112-04:00YES! Hubby eats them but only if I insist, but they sure are nice when you have the urge to harvest something, there are always a few ready. I noticed the Fish Emulsion thing too with Sprocket, the younger and "un"wiser dog... she will dig like crazy when she smells that stuff. Sorry about your lettuce, I hope your Rhubarb perks up as I am pretty interested in watching that develop for you this year!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06916896512933101955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2058555775154932842.post-62010362904411528122010-04-27T10:44:00.387-04:002010-04-27T10:44:00.387-04:00We need to get together! My red lettuce is untouched by varmints, and my green lettuce gets eaten to the ground.Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.com
