Winter Wonderland

This was taken in the first few hours of blizzard before the wind picked up.....
it was just gorgeous out there!  An unusual sight to have lost the visual depth of the woods to snow.  A few lone juncos were the only birds out and about.

My Husband just got back from Boston, right before this storm. I hope you are doing ok, it looks pretty in the picture but I know it is a mess to get around in and really hard on roofs. I think you are going to get a warmup by the weekend. Makes me ready for spring.

The winds were credible yesterday. If I was the local wildlife, I would have tucked myself into the ground or a tree trunk too!

I spent the past week in Pennsylvania, and we were supposed to get part of that storm, and it just missed us! I would have liked to have seen it, it looks beautiful!

Just looking at it makes me cold, but it sure is beautiful!

Beautiful to look at! I know it has caused havoc for many though.

Yes, luckily for us the havoc is in the southern states. We didn't fair too badly here. Lost a large limb from our holly tree, but that was about it!

How beautiful! I love snow but only when I don't have to interact with it. It is wonderful to curl up with a cup of hot cocoa and a book and watch the snow fall. Have a happy and safe new year!

Snow sure is pretty, isn't it?

I am caught up on your posts now. I love your lit up tractor!

I don't often draw up garden plans. I do it mentally somewhat. When I do write things down, I end up not following the plan very closely.

I need to sort through the seeds I have and see what I need to buy.
