I've never tried eating Kale or growing it so maybe I'll try it this year. And hope you'll like alpine strawberries - they're delish! I've had them for couple of years now and can't get enough of them when it's summer time. :)

We do love the Alpine berries Jenny, but this is my first try starting them from seed. I hope they germinate and grow well for me.

Kale is a great crop if you like eating lots of greens. Cut at baby size it is good in salads, or full leaf size for soup or sautéed greens. This is a new variety for us- I received a packet for trial last year and after googling it it turns out to be a dwarf heat resistant variety....sounds good to me!

I love reading what everyone is planting! I hear those alpine strawberries are really good, I keep meaning to find a place for them...
