This year two of the apple trees are covered in blooms, they are so pretty. The apple thieves dogs are no longer allowed in this part of the yard, so the apple yield should be much higher.
The cukes, squash, and fingerling potatoes went in the garden yesterday,
the only thing I am waiting on now are sweet potato slips which have not arrived yet, and for the remaining potatoes to chit. The 2011 garden is just about full.
HAPPY GARDENING!!

Looks like you are off and running! Enjoy those greens, I was SO happy to be in fresh salads again :)
My goal was to be heavy on the greens this year, so far I think I am doing okay. Some of my lettuce seed was not/is not germinating, (and it is new) so that was a disappointment. Sitting here eating garlic-chive pesto this very minute though, so I am happy!!
You have apple thieves, LOL! I had to fence out my green bean/carrot thieves. They still get their share, but they can no longer harvest their own.
My late dog always wanted the carrots from the garden. It was the only thing she really tried to harvest herself. But then we didn't have apples.
It looks like your garden is keeping you in greens :) I am going to try to sow some summer lettuce this year. I purchased a couple of varieties that are supposed to do well in the heat. It would be nice to have lettuce and tomatoes at the same time.
Apple thieves...too cute! My dog won't touch a fruit or veggie. :)
Beautiful! No apples for me again this year. Not sure if it's the kids or the critters. Maybe next year, maybe never. Who knows. I hope you get some this year!
