Monarch

We were so delighted to catch this lady monarch emerging from her chrysalis.  Yes, I called her a "fellow" in the video, but after closer inspection it is in fact a gal.

Kelly, I have tears in my eyes! I always try to catch this on video but never do! Maybe I should bring them in and put them in a butterfly house. Your kids will remember this forever, yay mama! thanks for the video, can't wait until the boys come home from school so they can watch it!

Thanks girls, it is one to treasure!! Erin, we have never seen this before, nevermind capture it on film all the stars were aligned for us today. Usually we miss it even when the butterfly house is in the same room- it happens so fast.

How did I miss this? I read all your blogs, but somehow I missed it in my reader. Thanks to Erin for including a link. Priceless (the butterfly and the kids)!

My eyes landed on Erin's comment, and I have to tell you I have tears, too.

What an awesome video, and I loved hearing you and your child/ren.
